Valenciennes Football Club a le plaisir d’annoncer la nomination de Yoann Godin en tant que nouveau directeur général du club.
Actuellement en poste à la Ligue de Football Professionnel (« LFP ») où il occupe les fonctions de directeur des partenariats et du réseau international, Yoann Godin rejoindra le VAFC au mois de novembre. Ce valenciennois de naissance a précédemment occupé des postes de développement commercial de haut niveau dans le secteur du sport chez SportFive et Lagardère Sports.
Le nouveau directeur général du club supervisera tous les aspects de la stratégie et des opérations du club, en étroite collaboration avec Sport Republic, et sera également nommé au conseil d’administration du Valenciennes Football Club (« VAFC »).

Il amène avec lui une riche expérience à des postes de direction dans le domaine du sport et du football, son leadership et son réseau, autant d’atouts qui lui permettront de gérer le club au quotidien » déclare Henrik Kraft, le Président du VAFC. « Il est en outre originaire de la région et dispose d’une solide appréciation et compréhension du rôle important que joue le VAFC au sein de notre communauté locale ».
Yoann Godin se réjouit de son arrivée au club du Hainaut : « Je suis ravi de rejoindre le VAFC en tant que nouveau directeur général. Je suis né et j’ai grandi à Valenciennes, je suis impatient de rendre à la ville et au club tout ce que qu’ils m’ont apporté durant ma jeunesse ».
« J’ai eu des discussions très ouvertes avec Sport Republic au sujet des divers défis et opportunités pour le VAFC et j’ai hâte de me joindre au projet pour aider ce superbe club de football à maximiser son potentiel ».

Valenciennes Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Yoann Godin as the club’s new Chief Executive Officer.
Godin will join the club in November from the French Football League (“LFP”) where he is the Director of Partnerships and Global Network. He previously held senior commercial positions within the sports industry with SportFive and Lagardere Sports.
Godin will oversee all aspects of the club’s strategy and operations, working closely with Sport Republic, and will also be appointed to the Board of Directors of Valenciennes Football Club (“VAFC”).

He brings with him a wealth of experience in senior roles in the sports and football industry and will provide strong leadership and commercial insights into the day-to-day running of our business operations. Yoann Godin added: “I am delighted to be joining VAFC as the new CEO. Born and raised in Valenciennes, I can’t wait to bring back to the city and the club all that they have given me as I grew up.”
